Yes, Rome hosts the Vatican. And the Catholic Church doesn’t like Halloween at all since it is a pagan holiday, but Romans, especially the youngest, don’t seem to care that much: they love Halloween!

Here is a selection of venues where you can go celebrate your Halloween on Sunday 31.

Let’s start from the most sophisticated: inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, “Crew Poe’s Night” will feature the best horror movies’ sound tracks and a dark cabaret show in a gothic ambiance at Micca Club starting from 7 pm. Entrance 10€, address: 7a, Via Pietro Micca.

The poshest party, with many people from the world of Cinema attending, will probably be the “Heinken Halloween Night” at Acquario Romano, dedicated to Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride. On invitation only. Address: Piazza Manfredo Fanti.

The biggest venue will be in the southern part of rome near the EUR area, at 217 Viale dell’Oceano Atlantico. The Atlantico Live will host hundreds of people with plenty of costumes and pumpkins. Three photographers will take pictures in search of the fanciest dress. Party starts at 10:30 pm. Entrance: 7€.

If you are looking for great music, you should then go to Brancaleone where Groove Armada’s Andy cato will play “Black Light”. At 11pm. Address: 11, Via Levanna. Entrance: 15€

Jim Morrison and Marylin Monroe’s ghosts will be invited to attend Rising Love‘s party, all devoted to spiritistic seances. From 10:30 pm at 14, Via delle Conce.

Have Fun!
