Tiger Woods will return to the site of the 2008 U. S. Open next week when he plays in the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course. Hometown boy Phil Mickelson will also be there for the tournament that runs from Monday, January 24 through Sunday the 30th.

 

The Farmers Insurance Open was formerly known as the Buick Invitational.

Admission is free of charge on Monday. Savvy spectators will save time and money by purchasing tickets ahead of time on the tournament website. Tuesday tickets (only available online) cost $16. Admission on Wednesday - Sunday is $26 in advance and $32 at the gate for adults and $16 in advance and $21 at the gate for 60+. A pass for the week costs $105.

All active military are free with family (ID required) and youth 15 and under are free with an adult.
