For holiday makers who are on a budget, forking out a heap of cash upfront when booking your holiday can leave you feeling the pinch. And, with the rise of travel costs, many can’t afford to do so.

The £0 payment plan is a handy alternative for customers to help spread the costs of their next holiday.

Instead of paying your holiday off in one chunk, you contribute to the final payment through direct debit installments every month.

It’s worth noting that the final payment will need to be paid no later than six weeks before the departure date however you’re still guaranteed leeway.

The new ‘Book Now, Pay Later’ service was rolled out both online and in-store on the 1st of March and is valid on holiday dates from the 1st November 2018 to the 31st October 2019 for a wide variety of holiday destinations across the world.

Families will be spoilt for choice as the plan also includes Thomas Cook’s own brand hotels - Sunprime, Sunwing, Sentido, Casa Cook, SENTIDO and Smartline.

Installment costs will be determined by the total cost of the holiday and can cost anything from £114 per month - based on a 7 day family holiday in May 2019.

It’s also worth remembering that Thomas Cook, along with the likes of other popular travel retailers like TUI and First Choice, regularly distribute codes to sites like NetVoucherCodes.co.uk. It’s worth keeping an eye out for the latest offers before booking your summer 2019 holiday to save more on your initial booking.

Infact, Thomas Cook are currently running a code for customers to save a whopping £300 per booking with the discount code: BOOKIT.

Chris Mottershead, Managing Director, Thomas Cook UK said: "We’re always looking for ways to make it easier for our customers to enjoy their well-earned break away.

"Our new zero deposit buy now pay later offer means that they can get the holiday in the diary now, and then spread the cost over the coming months. Our existing direct debit payment plan is very popular with families and we expect this new offer to appeal to them too."
