ROYALTY - The Queens birthday celebration and Trooping the Colours
An early day as 1000s of people are expected today at St James Park and the Mall near Buckingham Palace
Tube to St James Park .×× well half way as the 2 lines were down that we needed to take at our connecting tube stop . We improvised and hopped on a double decker. I'd your not sure where to get off just ask. Well we did a bit late and missed our spot.
We met up with my friend Dean who took us to all the best places to Royal watch. The TROOP THE COLOURS is an amazing parade and event to watch.
We walked all over today seeing St James Park which is so beautiful. The crowds were over the top watching and waiting patiently for the Queen. I can't say enough about this magnificent event. If you get to London in June, go see this.
We visited Trafalgar Square. Downing Street where Mr David Cameron/Prime Minister lives. South Bank a lively strip with restaurants and shopping and walked and walked and walked till we couldn't NO MORE.
A big thank you to my friend Dean who was our personal tour guide for the day. We saw so much more than we would of on our own.
