Satopanth Tal Trek | Satopanth Tal

A trip to the famous Himalayan Lake, as well as a stroll along the ancient route that the Pandavas once took to enter heaven. The Satopanth, or path of reality, leads to the triangular Satopanth Lake, which is surrounded by calming evergreens. The Satopanth Tal Trek, which takes you away from human settlements and into the domain of high mountain silence, gigantic massifs, mysterious glaciers, mammoth waterfalls, and sequestered stony caves, takes you into the realm of high mountain silence, gigantic massifs, mystic glaciers, mammoth waterfalls, and sequestered stony caves.

The Satopnath Trek begins with a drive to Badrinath that passes through all five major Hindu mythological Prayags (Devparyag, Rudraprayag, Karnaparyag, Nandparyag, and Vishnuprayag). The trek continues on to Laxmiban through Mana Village, the country's last village, crossing the legendary Bhim Pul over the raging Saraswati River. The Satopath trail continues along the banks of the Alaknanda River, passing the Vasudhara and Sehestradhara waterfalls.
