Auli is a beautiful destination especially for nature lovers and couples. I traveled there a couple of times and recently I was there last summer. If you are a nature lover then this place definitely worth for you. This is also ideal for couples because this place offers an environment which is ideal to understand your soulmate. You can see the similarities between your partner and this beautiful nature. You can feel the importance of him and this solitude nature avoid the distraction or disturbance between your romance.

But the point you have to remember before arriving i.e food and accommodation is quite expensive as compared to other places and in winter (Dec -Jan) & Summer( Apr/May-June) this place is packed with tourist. So it better to book your hotel or accommodation before arriving.

- Auli is a ski destination in Chamoli district in the Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand. Auli is a tourist destination and popular for its winter sports events and skiing. It is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests, with a panoramic view of the peaks of the Himalayas. It has a 4 Km cable car, and chairlift.
- Auli Artificial lake - This lake is one of the world's highest man-made lake in the world. It is approx 2 km from the GMVN Tourist rest house Auli.

- Gurson Bugyal - Gorson Bugyal is located at an altitude of 3056 mts, which is just 4–4.5 km trek from GMVN Auli Tourist rest house. It is a large land of green pastures surrounded by coniferous forest and oak trees. You can also trek towards Chattarkund, (which is just 1 km away from Gurso Bugyal and it is famous for its sweet water).
