International Conference on Skill Development at ICMEI

9009075453?profile=originalNoida: The Skill Development Council of ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry in association with Ministry of Skill Development And Entrepreneurship, Government of India organized an international conference on changing trends in media and skill development at Noida Film City.
Representatives of nine countries participated including Nigeria, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Vietnam, Nepal, Afghanistan, Ghana and India to understand the case study of one of the oldest skill Development School of the country-Asian Academy of Film And Television under the leadership of renowned media person Sandeep Marwah.
“We have been in skill development for the last twenty-three years. We assessed many years back that it is only skill development, which can keep the education alive to its best. This is the only way to generate trained manpower for required occupations,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television.
AAFT has trained more than 12000 media professionals hailing from more than 100 countries of the World. “Every student passed out from this media centre has been placed well into the industry,” said Ashok Tyagi Secretary General ICMEI.
Representative of NASA Dr. V.K.Goswami appreciated the way the courses and syllabus of AAFT has been planned to keep the students busy and occupied with great interest and students are always eager to learn which has helped them to grab better jobs in the market.
Dr. K.D. Gupta environmentalist emphasized the need of better environment during skill development and gave example of AAFT. Isaiah Anthony Nigerian writer and motivator spoke about the ingredients for better-designed skill development programs.
Bahrom Rahmatov, Saidkarim Rahimov, Sattor Kakerov, Sharafdzhon Razzokberdiev, Abdurakhmon Nadzhmidinov, Gulsun Muminova and Savriniso Ilyosova from Tajikstan, Sachithra Darshana Perera from Sri Lanka, Nguyen Thanh Hoa from Vietnam, Fida Mohammad Salih from Afghanistan, Raju Prasad Sah from Nepal, Francis Yaw Adu Boateng and Kawsara Osman from Ghana, Heman Bissessur from Mauritius and Edirin Patience from Nigeria also spoke on the occasion.Marwah Honored all the delegates with memento and life membership of WPDRF.
