I am a media relations specialist for the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, whose primary job is promoting Texas' 93 state parks and the agency's nature tourism programs, such as the World Birding Center. I also do freelance travel writing about Texas destinations, people and other topics.

Texas state parks and historic sites, such as San Jacinto Battlegrounds, and most destinations and attractions in West, and South Texas, as well as the Hill Country where I live.
