  It was excellent!! The ship was definetly not as good as some of the others I have been on, but for the market it was top notch. The food was great and the staff were helpful and generally spoke enough English to get by. From what I understand though the Tolstoy is either be decommisioned or refurbished. So it won't be on the waterways next season.

  I just recently lead a group to Russia as well. Which ship or cruiseline was she on? I was on the Tolstoy and went in the second half of May 2010.
