The Standard in Downtown Los Angeles

Downtown L.A. may seem like an unlikely place to spend your Sunday, but not if it’s spent at The Standard. A den of debauchery in downtown L.A.  Partying is the theme of this hotel and pool bar. The drink of choice is Jell-O shots, and the crowd is seemingly on a mission to outdo one another on just how many Jell-O shots one can consume. Sliders are the meal of choice. Swimming with the Shark’s is a Saturday event that can make “girls gone wild” seem tame, complete with squirt gun wars, and yes, more Jell-O shots.
