The beaches of Goa rated among the best through out the world and attract traveler with its vibrant cosmopolitan culture. There are large number of water sports facilities available in various beaches. Here on the beaches you can enjoy everything like you can relish the mouth watering sea snacks with a feni or beer, or can enjoy the mid night bonfire on the beach. The beaches of Goa are also excellent place for shopper's delight as the beach side shops display a great variety of trendy items.

The famous beaches of Goa:

Anjuna Beach : Suitably addressed as the freak capital of world, Anjuna beach is undoubtedly a stress buster. Mesmerizes globetrotters with its scenic beauty, Anjuna is a great venue for rave parties where people unwind themselves with fun, music and dance under the star studded sky. There are some architectural delight near the beach which should not be missed like , Albuquerque Mansion, Mascarenhas Mansion and the Chapora Fort. Weekly flea market is another attraction of Anjuna beach.

Colva Beach : A big stretch of white sand powder on the shores of Arabian sea Colava beach is ideal for leisurely walk on silver sand or you can swing yourself with your favorite book or if you are a adventurous lover then go for plenty of water sports available here. More over you can treat yourself with some sumptuous Goan food and drinks from the stalls near by.

Calangute Beach : Known as the queen of Goa beaches Calangute is famous for water sports like para sailing, wind surfing, water skiing etc. Discovered by the hippies it is another traveler's delight in Goa.

Dona Paula : This beach is one of the most happening beaches of Goa because of the various water sports facilities offered here. Kayaking, motorboat riding, windsurfing, parasailing, water-skiing, toboggan ski-biscuit, yachting, skibob, sports fishing, snorkeling and harpoon fishing are some of the leisure activities you can indulge into at the Dona Paula Beach

Baga Beach: An ideal place to enjoy swimming and sun bath Baga Beach is frequented by nature lovers. People visit here to enjoy the waves crash against the black rock, canoing and paddling.

Bogmalo Beach: Located just 8km away from the historic Vasco da Gama town, Bagmalo beach is another fabulous beach of Goa. This small sandy stretch is surrounded by three hills, lush with greenery. Initially this beach was a quiet fishing village but later on it become as a significant tourism spot. Unlike other beaches in Goa, Bogmalo beach is clean and less crowded. This beach is an ideal option to pamper yourself at the nearby Ayurvedic centre known as Sree Sankara Ayurvedic centre. Here you can indulge yourself in windsurfing, diving and jet skiing etc.
