Tom Hanks is back as a professor in symbology on a mission across Rome to solve murder, terrorist attacks and more! This movie takes you all across the city at break neck speed offer some excellent insight into the stunning attractions in Rome.

3. A good year, in Provence

Russell Crowe is a British investment broker who  inherits his uncle’s chateau and vineyard in Provence, where he spent much of his childhood. He discovers a new laid-back lifestyle as he tries to renovate the estate to be sold.

4. Mamma Mia, in Greece

Set on a colorful Greek island, the plot serves as a background for a wealth of ABBA sing-alongs. Skiathos is close to where the movie was filmed so it enjoys some similar scenery.

5. In Bruges, in Bruges

London based hit man Ken and his partner are sent to cover themselves in Bruges for a couple of weeks. Now, we now that Colin Farrell can be irresistibly charming, but if you ignore him for a moment, you’ll realize that the movie offers excellent glimpse into this romantic city.

6. It’s All Gone Pete Tong, in Ibiza

The white Island has been attracting hundreds of party seekers for years. If you are up to a late night parties on the island, you can take a sneak peak at the famous Pacha, Amnesia, Privilege, DC10, the historic Pike’s Hotel and Cala Longa beach.

7. The Tourist, in Venice

Johnny Depp heads to Venice only to be pulled into Angelina Jolie’s world of secrets. You’ll enjoy some excellent Venice scenes through this movie. Perfect if you’re dreaming of a romantic Venice break.

8. Sliding Doors, in London

Sliding Doors offers some fantastic scenes taking place across London. This film is shot in parallel with Gwyneth Paltrow’s future dependent on catching her train or not. Well worth a watch if you’re planning on heading to London.

9. The Bourne Identity, in Europe

On a stormy night, a young man is pulled out of the Mediterranean Sea by the crew of a fishing boat. Later, the plot takes our wet hero around Europe for clues about his identity and past life.

10. The Business, in Costa Del Sol

This film might not offer the best when it comes to acting and script (or anything else, for that matter), although it does provide some excellent insights into Malaga and the sun drenched Costa del Sol.

  • Good list  with The Bourne Idenity and The Tourist. I'll add the first Pink Panther for ski country in the Alps altho I can't remember exactly which town.
