Freelance travel writer specializing in the cultural/geographical influence on the cuisine (culinary tourism). As a chef, historian, teacher and writer I look for connections among the place, people, their activities and what they eat. I travel extensively in southern South America, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America and am starting to explore Africa.
