Are you connected to the tourism/travel/hospitality industries or travel media in any way? If so, please specify how (kindly include any relevant company names/Web sites!).
Freelance travel writer and photojournalist. Presently writing for CBS online, Examiner. com and Travel Addict magazine as well as my own blog - DougBardwell.com; but looking for other outlets for my stories and photos.
On which destinations & travel topics can you advise members especially well?
Lots of experience with digital photography and travel gear. Destinations would include some of the Great Lakes and numerous travels to California, Colorado, New York and Hawaii.
What destinations are you most interested in learning about?
Australia and Antarctica are places I've yet to experience, but interested in the whole world.
Other travel / language expertise?
No other languages. Can offer help with most things in the digital domain. A bit of a techno-gadget buff.
