Bobbi Booker has covered race, pop culture and lifestyle issues for more than 20 years as a beat writer, and serves as radio host for "Spirit Soul Music on Ovations" on WRTI-90.1 FM in Philadelphia. Bobbi has completed prestigious fellowships at two National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Journalism Institutes at Duke University and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. She was named a 2008 Peter Jennings Project for Journalists and the Constitution Fellow. Her work appears in many diverse publications, including BlackAmericaWeb.com, Philadelphia Magazine, Philadelphia Weekly and online at The Book Report series.
