A cooking experience - that's always fun to do when you travel.I don't have firsthand experience with this one, but have you looked at: Taste of Scotland?

Check the trains to Inverness, & see if one of 'Jacobite Cruises' is do-able from Glasgow. http://www.jacobite.co.uk/
