Visa:

Indonesia frees visa to visit Bali for citizens of 169 countries for 30 days. You have to pay USD 35 for Visa on Arrival.

Weather:

The best time to go to Bali is: May to August. Rainy Season: October to April, and the Dry Season: May to September.

SPECIAL DAY:

Automated Teller Machines issue denominations of Rp 50,000 or 100,000. If you use non-Indonesian bank then you will be charged high enough. Beware of the skimmer in Bali.

NEGOTIATIONS:

You may need to bargain hard, up to half of the price offered in the traditional markets.

TEMPLE:

You need to obey the rules set by the temples of Bali, for example, a belt and a loincloth. You cannot smoke inside the temple because you will tarnish its purity. In some temples you will met a "donation box". Give 1-2 dollars per box to help the local residents.

DRUGS:

Never carry drugs or you will be executed. Indonesia is one of the countries that apply the death penalty for any drug smuggler.
