What to Expect at LA Travel & Adventure Show
At last year's LA Travel & Adventure show we canoodled with Falkland Islands penguins (sort of), as you can see in the photo to the left, enjoyed chatting with our friend Peter Greenberg before his talk (don't miss him if you go - we always learn something great from him!), and we enjoyed meeting and learning about new destinations to add to our bucket list, as well as what's new in some of our past favorites.
The event spans two days, but if you can only attend one, research the schedule and participants and plan ahead - there's a lot of exhibitors to see, speakers to hear, and culinary demonstrations to watch and taste!

The weekend also features a variety of great travel speakers, including tv host Rick Steves, world famous explorer, diver, and environmentalist Jean-Michel Cousteau, Guidebook author Pauline Frommer, America's most recognized travel journalist Peter Greenberg, tv host of "Born to Explore" Richard Wiese, author Patricia Schultz, and longtime host of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" Chris Harrison.
The 2013 Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show will take place January 12-13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Long Beach Convention Center, 300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90802.
