Tony Daly, Managing Director of Ranch Rider comments, “Appealing to beginners and experienced riders, each ranch offers a mix of horseback adventures, from scenic “wine & cheese” rides at the White Stallion to more challenging lopes, a seven hour ride to the ghost town of Fairbank available at the Tombstone Monument Ranch.  Cattle drives are also scheduled to commence at the Rancho de la Osa in October.”

All of the properties are dude ranches so there are plenty of alternative pursuits for guests who want a break from horse riding, including rock climbing, fat tyre electric bike tours, archery, clay pigeon shooting and off road excursions.

Daly comments, “It's worth swapping saddles at the Rancho de la Osa and trying out the fat tyre electric bikes. We had so much fun on the sandy tracks, we almost reached the Mexican border."

Visited by the tour operator after it re-opened in February of this year, Rancho de la Osa is one of the most historic guest ranches in the west, the property dating back to the 1700s.
