The Tobu Railway Group announces the June 3 opening of the newest Ritz-Carlton in historic, culturally and naturally rich Nikko, two hours north of Tokyo’s Asakusa Station. along the Tobu Railway Line. the hotel is situated along magnificent Lake Chuzenji, Japan’s highest altitude lake, with spectacular lake-front views. ■ Luxury Area Divided into Three Zones After passing through the arrival lobby, guests can enter the hotel’s three different luxury areas. The lobby lounge, well lit with natural light, is designed with warm wooden features and a nod to the history of Nikko.
