Paradise of smog and cloud in Moc Chau Plateau

Moc Chau is one of the most pristine beautiful plateaus in the North mountainous region that brings the amazing attraction for all classes of people even for hard-to-pleasure tourists. Maybe thank to the favor of nature when locating Moc Chau more than 1,050 meters above the sea level with the temperate climate, this plateau has the special beauty that different from anywhere you have come in this land of S-shape.

It is considered as the harmonic natural symphony of the climate among Sapa, Tam Dao, and Da Lat.Thus, Moc Chau is known as not only the land of greenery but also the paradise of fog, smog and cloud. Moc Chau has ever been called Muong Moc – its ancient name that has meanings of the mountain village of cloud and fog.

Indeed, coming here in dry or rainy season, the morning or the afternoon even at noon, it is very common to see the valleys of cloud and smog, and the mountains and fields covered by mist. It is true to say that cloud, mist, and smog appears every time in a year and especially everywhere in Moc Chau.

Mist hangs over the hills of green tea trees, the immense fields of napa cabbage flowers, cauliflowers, wild sunflowers, and grasslands which spreads out to the horizon. The imposing mountains and hills engulfed in thick fog that makes them consider as deserted islands in the sea of white clouds. Clouds sometimes drift slowly, sometimes floats thick and fast for a few minutes and then are blown to other places. Moc Chau is the paradise of cloud and smog where you can touch and catch a cloud. And nothing is wonderful than climbing to the high mountains to contemplate the beauty of Moc Chau covered by floating clouds in sunny day.
