My Best Roadside Travel Story

Our last long Tesla car trip with our Norwegian friends Vidar and Ketil was from Vancouver to New Orleans and back through central Washington to avoid traffic from Seattle and Reno to Las Vegas through central Nevada to avoid traffic. of California.

We visited an old friend in Albuquerque who saved the birds on the way back and was able to feed some of her birds, which was a very emotional experience. Its view over the valley is wonderful. We visited the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History, which was extremely interesting.

We visited Oklahoma City and saw the huge Centennial Land Run Monument and then went to visit Houston and the Space Center. So off we went to Baton Rouge, where we checked into a hotel attached to a river boat casino, which was obviously the same old one, but interesting and friendly. Check out Louisiana's North Shore and then our airbnb in the Garden District of New Orleans!

In NO for as many days as possible, eating delicious food and music, of course - and museums, the river, clubs and finally your Gay Pride Parade, where we literally collect a suitcase full of goods! So V&K returned to Oslo and we returned to Santa Fe, visiting the Opera (spectacular landscapes) and several indigenous houses on cliffs and historic areas. We also carried a rainproof tent to avoid any bad cicumstances.

Off to Tuscon and a fantastic visit with two fabulous friends there and exploring the mountains that dominate the valley. So, in Los Angeles, to visit our two wonderful software developers in Rancho Cucamonga and my uncle Swami in Trabuco Canyon. On the coast, after San Juan Capistrano arrives at the largest compressor and returns through the most windy roads, beautiful landscapes try to find a motel in Salinas that was almost impossible due to the race weekend in Laguna Seca.

Then, in Pacific Grove, to check in to Asilomar, where 60 members of my family were attending the first meeting I was able to attend. After a great weekend there, we went up the coast through San Francisco and Eureka to the mouth of the Columbia River and then arrived at I-5 and home. What a fantastic trip!
