Hospitality in the sky – Low cost carriers

I admit that low cost carriers are boon to people who travel on a tight budget, whenever I travel abroad I look for low cost airlines availability first, I have flown with two major low cost carriers in the Southaast Asian region, But hospitality takes a beating when you fly with low cost carriers, from booking ticket to getting a bottle of water they make us shell out extra monies, even if you are ready to pay for something you like the from menu, The typical reply you get from the hostess is “ Sorry sir it's sold out “ then you are tempted to ask, well, what is available? Reply: “instant noodles” Heck. I rather be on an empty stomach than eating readymade food. Suddenly the flight become horrible because of my hunger, so to kill my hunger I ordered a can of juice and a bottle of water - for $5; it seems only the ticket is low cost everything else is overpriced, My budget conscious mind started to calculate the expense accrued by this flight, the all inclusive fare stood at $95 (fare, transaction fee, seat blocking fee, luggage fee, a can of juice, and water) not to mention waking up 4 am to catch the 7.30 flight, the fare for regular airline was $110 for the same sector, Now I begun to wonder Is it really worth the hassle to fly in a low cost airline when the regular airline fare is within the range?
