Prices begin at $1,875 per person for 10 day independent tour

Israeland Greece– two countries rich in history – combine on a new 10-day Jerusalem, Athens and the Greek Isles itinerary from Homeric Tours.  The company, which specializes in distinctive travel to Greece and the Mediterranean, offers regular departures through October 22, priced from $1,855 per person for August and mid-October departures.

On the itinerary are three nights each in Jerusalem and Athens, a visit to Corinth, and a 4-day Greek Island cruise.

Israel: from Old Jerusalem to the Sea of Galilee

The itinerary starts in Tel Aviv, where passengers are transferred to Jerusalem, their base for three nights.  Two full day tours take in Old Jerusalem and Bethlehem, plus Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee.  In Old Jerusalem the tour covers sights such as the Roman Road, the Jewish Wailing Wall, the Christian Quarter, and the Via Dolorosa.  The trip to Galilee features areas associated with the life of Jesus, including as Taghba, Tiberias, and Capernaum.

Greece: Athens, the Greek Isles and Corinth

From Israel, Homeric travelers fly to Athens for an overnight before embarking on a 3-night cruise to Mykonos, Kusadasi (Turkey), Patmos, and Santorini.  Following the cruise, participants tour ancient Corinth, followed by a return to Athens, and city tour, including the new Acropolis Museum.  A final overnight is spent in Athens prior to the return flight home.

What’s Included

Travelers can choose from two hotel categories.  Depending on date and hotels, per person price ranges from  $1,855, double occupancy, for August and mid-October departures; to $2,265 for early October departures.  Included are:

  • hotel accommodations with breakfast,
  • tours to Nazareth and Galilee in Israel, plus Corinth and Athens in Greece;
  • 3-night Greece and Turkey cruise with all meals,
  • transfers, hotel taxes,
  • orientation by a local Homeric staff member at the Athens hotel.

Port taxes and fuel surcharges of $125 are additional, as is international air travel.  Homeric Tours provides competitive air fares from the U.S. in conjunction with the tour.
