But as the home of the third highest mountain in the world - Mount Kanchenjunga, its thick snow cover and towering mountains make Skiing a dream come true. The Sikkim Mountaineering Association recently introduced ice skiing in two areas - Phuni in Lachung and Yumthang to help a little to get Sikkim the attention it deserves.
