Everest Base Camp & Kalapathar Trek

Everest Base Camp Trek and Kalapatthar Trek is one of the famous trekking route in the Everest region.The trekking starts just after landing of flight in Lukla. Inhabited by the Sherpas, the small and rustic Khumbu region left no any effort to welcome to any visitors as well, providing the high hospitality in the beautiful lodges for the stay as well as for acclimatization. Then the trek continues surpassing the splendid view of the numerous peaks, glaciers, ice falls, valleys, Frozen stream, juniper bushes, dramatic landscapes as well as Sherpa villages, monasteries and gompas. Mt Pumori, Lhotse peak, South Col, Mt Amadambla, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Khumbu ice fall, Gorak Shep, Tengboche monastery, Kalapathhar hills is the special features of this trekking. From the Kalapathhar you can have an amazingly beautiful view of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, MtPumori and many more. The best time for trekking is from March to May and from September to December.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.

 

Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu and basic preparation for upcoming trek.


Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2840m), hike to Phakding (2610m)

Day 04: Phakding (2610m) &ndash Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Day 05: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar

Day 06: Namche Bazaar - Tengboche (3860m)


Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche. 

Day 09: Dingboche to Lobuche.

Day 10: Lobuche to Gorekshep to Everest Base Camp.

Day 11: Gorekshep to Everest Base Camp.

Day 12: Gorekshep to Kalapathar back to Lobuche.

Day 13: Lobuche to Tengboche.

Day 14: Namche to Phakding.

Day 15: Extra day.

Day 16: Phakding to Lukla 


Day 17: Fly back to Kathmandu. Head towards other destinations.
