Costa Rica

In the spring of 2009 I headed to Costa Rica for a 8 day trip for my Capstone in my MBA program. A group of 3 students and our instructor were tasked with helping the tourism board on the eastern side of the country. Costa Rica is a cutlurally rich country with amazing weather, more animals than anywhere else in the world and locals who are so caring about each other and the planet.

We got to live like tourists and experience tours of pineapple plantation, a flower farm, a zip-line, whitewater rafting trip, a visit to Earth Universityand lots of hard work for our class.

The western side of Costa Rica is a great tourist spot but check out the east side for un-touched land, amazing outdoor activities and a country full of unique experiences. It is a quick flight from the U.S. and you can practice your Spanish!

Favorite Part: The animals and the nature!

Not So Favorite Part: While my classmates were fun this trip would have better with family and friends.

Coming Up Next Week: Part 1 of Many of Italy
