The place served as the capital of the Lanna kingdom a long time ago, whose ruins can still be found in the region in the form of walls, moats and more. In addition to this, there are the famous structures such as the 14th-century Wat Phra Singh and 15th-century Wat Chedi Luang, which are well known.

In addition to this, the place offers a great view of the surrounding hillsides, and has become synonymous as a resort getaway.

Situated in the Southwest of Cambodia, is the town of Sihanoukville, whose origins date back to colonial times.

It was built by the French colonists as deepwater port. With Cambodia gaining independence, Sihanoukville lost its significance as a port, and instead became a well-known resort town, due to its Welaid-back atmosphere and natural beauty.
