New Delhi: “If food is essential to live then art and culture is necessary for us to learn humanity. Art and culture bring colors to the life and break the monotonous of routine. It is important for young students to get involved with different arts, as it develops the overall personality of the child,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University and Chief Scout For India in a webinar to inaugurate 15 days long art and culture festival designed by RootSkills by Bhavisha Budhadeo.
“Every student should be part of Scout & Guide Program at School. The Mission of Scouting and Guiding is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.
The Scouting program has three specific objectives, commonly referred to as the “Aims of Scouting.” They are character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. The methods by which the aims are achieved are listed below in random order to emphasize the equal importance of each.
Later Dr. Marwah saw the variety program performed by the young students of different schools from all over India.
