To find some great eco lodges you can go to, or conversely send me recommendations for lodges not listed. I have developed an Eco Rating system so that I'm sure these lodges truly are "eco" and promote sustainable travel.

We've relocated our base of operations out of the Washington, D.C. Metro Area and are now operating out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

So what does eco-adventure travel & tourism mean? It doesn't mean that a traveler needs to be a "tree hugger" to participate. Rather; eco-adventure travel & tourism serves to support all of us who are ecologically conscious, aware and responsible in our travel and tourism experiences. It is all about respecting the environment, the peoples and the cultural heritage of the places we travel. To find the "adventure" usually means finding destinations around the world that are secluded, unusual, pristine, exciting and beautiful . . . perfect locations to be respectful and caring of the surroundings and the peoples of the land. In other words, "No littering allowed."
