Great news! Jamaica is back, offering unforgettable birding adventures
From March 31 until April 6 2012.

Here is what "Naturalist Journeys" says about Jamaica:

" Jamaica.  Beautiful migrant warblers in fresh spring plumage hanging out in the Wild Orchid tree by the pool. Long white sand beaches, colorful characters, the vibrancy of life. (Narca's) pick for the cutest bird of the trip is the Jamaican Tody, which reminds her of the Tody Motmot she loves in Belize and Panama. The Tody family (Todidae) is one of two families unique to the Caribbean.

Don't Miss this one!! We find Jamaica very exciting, and so comfortable to be in while birding. We are positively pampered at the Hotel Mocking Bird Hill"

Oasis Eco Camp is a small intimate eco Lodge located on the shores of Lake Elementaita Kenya which is an IBA and a Ramsar site since 2005. Over 450 species of birds in the locality and the only breeding grounds for white Pelicans in East Africa.

Planning a birding trip to Kenya, dont miss this jewel.

Tourists in Greenwich Village's Washington Square Park got a thrill late this afternoon when a huge hawk flew in for touchdown on a maple branch just above our heads. Bigger than anything they'd seen in Idaho. Conclusion: There's a lot of quality protein in pigeon meat. But did you know that NYC is such a good place for birders?
