Communities: The Maasai community is the ancestral inhabitants of the area. The community is a major attraction being one of the few communities that has retained their customs, which are very evident in their dances, dressing & cultural ceremonies.

Access:  Distance from Nairobi is about 270km which. Maasai Mara can be accessed by road which is   a 5-6 hrs drive or by air. There are a host of more than 7 airstrips serving the properties in the Mara with option of direct charter flights to specific lodges

Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup from Common residence /agreed pick up point at 6.00 am briefed by our representative and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley (1 stop over for photos of the escarpment) to the world famous Maasai Mara game reserve, arriving at lodge in time for lunch . At 1600 hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 2:

Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600 hrs respectively. All meals and overnight at the lodge

Day 3: Depart the Mara after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon Drop off at the common residence / pickup point.
