Seeing the World with New Eyes

My story Seeing theWorld with New Eyes is  being spotlighted on Wanderlust and Lipstick,a site dedicated to tours for  adventurous women.This wander tale is included in my travel essay collection Lost Angel Walkabout. It takes place on the turn of the century steam train  that departs from Durango Colorado to huff and puff  it's way up a percipitous Animas River canyon to Silverton- the most rowdy of all the mining town on the San Juan Skyway in Colorado.On this journey I met Sarah, a little lady who gave me a whole new way of looking at things.
