India is the land of spirituality, devotees and culture. There are so many destinations which will show you the spirituality of the India Varanasi, kedarnath, badrinath, gangotri, yamunotri, Vaishno Devi (Katra) and so many others. The list of Indian pilgrim destinations is very long. Indian pilgrim tour is famous all around the world and the most famous Indian pilgrim tour in called “Chardham”. The tour, which compresses the joy, adventure and spirituality. It is said people get moksha (literally "release") after the journey.
Usually chardham tour starts from Akshaya tritiya (approximately in May). As you all might already know that chardham yatra covers many pilgrim places. Generally the tour starts from Haridwar and take you to Yamunotri (the first major spot of chardham yatra and the source of river yamuna) via Mussoorie. After worshiping in Yamunotri temple the journey moves towards the next destination, Gangotri. In the journey between Yamunotri to Gangotri we cover the places like Uttarkashi and Harsil. Gangotri is the source of holiest river of India, the Ganga. After taking deep in delightful scenery and the ponds (kund) the pilgrim move for Kedarnath covering the pilgrim places like Tehri dam, Srinagar Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Guptkashi, Gaurikund. The kedarnath is the most remote destination of char dham tour. Now the time comes for the most awaited destination of chardham circuit, Badrinath. The destination is established by Adi Shankaracharya, is the abode of lord Vishnu.
