President of the Virginia Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus (VACVB); past president of the Shenandoah Valley Travel Association (SVTA) and past-president of the Travel component of the Virginia Hospitality & Travel Association (VHTA).

On which destinations & travel topics can you advise members especially well?: Basically anywhere in Virginia and much of the United States and Canada. Also the U.K. where I have studied and many other European countries. Historic cemeteries throughout Virginia and several other states. Some European cemeteries as well. I have led many tours dealing with historic architecture and an authority of early film star and interior designer William (Billy) Haines.

Other travel / language expertise?: Limited languages (sorry to say). Have travelled extensively via Amtrak across the United States. Crossed the Atlantic as a child on the S.S. United States....wish I could do that again!
