It's dubbed "The Natural State" for a reason: the gorgeous nature in places like the Ozarks. Also of note: music festivals, Ozark folk traditions, thermal waters of Hot Springs and Eureka Springs, a touch of sophistication in capital Little Rock.
The birthplace of Mark Twain and Harry Truman offers nature (especially in the Ozarks); frontier, Civil War, and other history; country music (Branson); and big cities like St. Louis and Kansas City.
