How much editing do you receive if you publish on the Examiner.com? Some articles appear to be substantially more literate than others. Sue -- you're well-respected in the industry. Have you taken a huge cut in the world of new media?

I'd be interested in hearing other people's takes on compensation. Thank you.

Hi Karen:

Bob Ecker, SF International Travel Examiner here. I write and publish content all over, but in the Examiner too. True, the pay is abysmal, but the work isn't too tough and it keeps my exposure level high. I use it for marketing purposes, more than any other. Still, I like my little column. Could be worse. Like many other things, the more you put in, the more you extract.

I am definitely interested in this...I am in the process of launching my own magazine now, but I still freelance and need travel outlets.
