The Silas Griffith Inn is proud to announce its New Summer mid-week specials - all King/Queen/Twin rooms just $99/night and still includes breakfast!  Enjoy hikes, shopping, museums, theater and more without the weekend crowds.  Or just sit and relax in this quiet Historic Inn/B&B in the quaint little village of Danby, Vermont.  Family friendly - seriously!  board games, video games, and plenty of space to run around outside!

If you know a thing or two about Montreal, please help out a fellow member of Tripatini who's planning a family trip there. Her questions are in our Ask A Travel Pro section: http://www.tripatini.com/forum/topics/montreal   Thanks!

Take advantage of our Spring Specials to stretch that budget a little further.  The Silas Griffith Inn is a family friendly 10-room B&B/Inn located in Danby, Vermont near skiing, hiking, boating, fishing, shopping and more.  Plus, with over 5 acres of land, there is plenty of space for outside activities right here at the Inn.  And, we have an extensive board game collection, as well as excellent WI-FI, and video game consoles, including the Wii, X-box 360 and the Playstation 3 as well as games.  Since breakfasts are individually cooked, I can usually please even the most finicky child with something they like for breakfast, even if its a peanut butter and banana sandwich.

Kids up to age 13 are free in their parent's room, as is.  We can add a roll-away for a minimal $25 for the stay. Several of our rooms have twin beds and can be bundled into the Family Suite rate.  All our rooms have either DVD players or VCRs and we offer loaner movies from our own collection.

We run specials regularly.  For the Spring we have the following specials:

Spring Clean Up Days at the Silas Griffith Inn!

Spring is coming, and even after such a lack of snow, there is still a lot to do to get ready for Summer including preparing the gardens, and repairing the ravages of Winter.  In exchange for your help with the clean-up, we’re offering all our rooms at Half-Price from April 1st, 2012 through April 30th, 2012.  To get your discount all you have to do is promise to help with the clean up during your stay.  And yes, your stay includes a full breakfast.

To get this special package, request the Spring Clean-up Package when you make your reservation for anytime between April 1st to 30th, 2012.  Call 1-888-569-4660 or e-mail stay@silasgriffith.com

Love Vermont?!?  Help Keep it Green and Clean!!! Green-Up Day is coming!

To celebrate Green-Up Day the Silas Griffith Inn is offering a May Special.

All rooms ½ price May 1-10, 2012 with a little Green-Up Help.

How to help:  while you are visiting Vermont and traveling around, take one of our Green-Up Packs and pick up any trash you see.  The Green-Up Packs include the Official Green-Up Day bags and gloves for your protection.

To get this special rate, ask for the Green-Up Special when you make your reservation by calling 1-888-569-4660 or e-mail stay@silasgriffith.com
