Has Caravaggio Replaced Michelangelo?

I have not been to Italy in several years. Have those of you who are there or have gone there noticed this ascendency of Caravaggio? http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/10/arts/design/10ab

As far as I am concerned, culture is everywhere. It may not be the greatest concert or exhibition - it can be a festival! It's a question of doing a modicum of research and traveling with open eyes.

Cultural events must surely be part of everyday life, not just a show for tourists.

Istanbul absolutely blew me away years ago, and I'm really anxious to get back this year for the culture year.

In the meantime, last summer I was in both 2011 twin capitals, Turku, Finland and Tallinn, Estonia, and they will be treats, too -- very differently flavored, but treats indead.

While we are searching for exciting cultural events abroad, here, in Palm Beach, FL, the American International Fine Arts Fair proved huge success. This year was two times better than the last one.

Hello Wendy, thanks to the Internet, now with little French you can see all the cultural activities agenda at http://www.culture.fr/fr/sections/. No English, although.
