Dear Route 66 Enthusiast:
My name is Kevin Wong and I am a professional travel and landscape photographer who lives in Joshua Tree, California. My business, Mojave Desert Excursions provides guided photo opportunity tours in and near the Mojave National Preserve and I often travel along Route 66 where it passes through the Mojave Desert.

This week, I launched a funding campaign on Kickstarter.com
for a photographic essay book on the lives and faces of those who live on or
near the segment of Route 66 that passes through the Mojave Desert (Ludlow,
Amboy, Cadiz, Chambless, Essex, Goffs and Needles). I will also interview those
that work on the road, the tourists that travel the road, and the passionate
people that preserve and promote Route 66. This project will cost $3,000 and it
was selected by Kickstarter for its project vision and for the quality of reward
gifts. Yes, as a pledge patron you will receive a reward gift for each level of
pledge! There are only 45 days open for this project, so don't delay...please
make a pledge now and send me on the road to record the lives and faces
on "Route 66 - the Mojave Experience". You can make a pledge of $1.00 or more by clicking here. If you find this project inspiring and worthy, please forward this post to your friends and networks. I am open to any and all recommendations and suggestions to this project.

You can follow the project on facebook: "Route 66 - the Mojave Experience"

Thank you,
Kevin Wong

Claudette, I just reviewed the MexicaChica website. You offer wonderfully amazing experiences for women. I absolutely love all of them. I am a travel and food writer and am seriously interested in participating in "The Day of the Dead" trip for 2011. When you know the dates for it please let me know. Muchas gracias!

Hi everyone!

If you are in search of any experiential travel in Mexico, please consider MexicaChica Getaways. We offer top level, week long learning vacations exclusively to women. Our Art, Culinary and Spanish Immersion tours aim to inspire in a supportive small group environment. In addition to our cultural getaways, we are able to custom tailor itineraries for groups of 6 or more.

Please visit my site to learn more: www.mexicachica.com

We especially look forward to hearing from Travel Agents interested in our programs. Thank you for your consideration. Saludos! Claudette

Hello everyone,

I am contacting all the Tripatini groups that I am a member of to ask members to consider participating in a survey that I plan to conduct. The purpose is to obtain a sense of the level of job satisfaction among travel professionals in the current economic climate, and to encourage reflection upon how well we manage time in our work environments. I will have the results analyzed and publish them in an article. All responses will be kept confidential.

If you would like to participate, please send me your name and e-mail address.

Thanks!
Monique

Hello everyone,

I am Monique Y. Wells of Discover Paris! We are not a travel agency, but rather, a travel planning service. We primarily provide self-guided, personalized itineraries to Anglophone travelers (individuals, couples, and small groups). We also give private, guided walking tours to FIT travelers and larger groups, and offer specialized activities such as photography lessons, cooking classes, and wine tastings. We are a low volume, high quality business.

One of our specialties is African-American Paris. This has been an important niche market for us throughout the years.

Another of our specialites is the gourmet itinerary. We create self-guided gastronomic itineraries, and provide private, guided walks of less publicized market streets and quarters.

I welcome any inquiries that you may have about our services.

Istanbul is the Cultural Capital of Europe for 2010: http://www.en.istanbul2010.org/index.htm. Amazing program, as you can see from the website - from the culture of 7 civilizations to the most modern art, events, etc.

Welcome to all new members! Select Italy, we will help you with the survey. The form looks OK, it needs some minor adjustments, and will be great travel planning tour.

Welcome to all group members! Please use the wall to share anything and everything related to cultural tourism. And, above all, please help me to create the biggest database of cultural tourism resources. Thanks!
