Austrian Airlines’ new vacation package combines air from many US cities, hotel and music for a splendid celebration

Atlanta, Georgia – For music lovers who have always dreamt of celebrating New Year’s in Vienna, the music capital of the world, Austrian Airlines Vacation Center has composed a unique vacation package that is available from many cities in the US, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Charlotte, Houston, Miami and Philadelphia - at the same rate of $6,799 per person, double occupancy.

“Our ‘New Year’s in Vienna’ package includes rare tickets to the preview of the famous New Year’s Day Concert by the Vienna Philharmonic in the Musikverein as well as a performance of Strauss’ opera DIE FLEDERMAUS at the Vienna State Opera,” notes Bram Majtlis, president of Atlanta-based Austrian Airlines Vacation Center. “But for many, the most unforgettable part of the trip will be the opportunity to attend the Grand Ball and gala dinner at the Imperial Palace on New Year’s Eve!”

Passengers depart from their selected city on December 28, 2012, and return on January 3, 2013, or they may want to add extension nights before and after these dates. Rates from other major US cities are available upon request.

The five-night, six-day trip features roundtrip air, economy class on Austrian Air and its airline partners to Vienna from Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Charlotte (CLT), Houston (IAH), Miami (MIA) or Philadelphia (PHL) . Also included are four nights hotel accommodations at the luxury five-star Grand Hotel (centrally located near the Vienna State Opera House), private transfers, daily buffet breakfast, plus a grand array of events that will delight the most discerning fan of classical music.

“This wonderful New Year’s package was created so individual travelers can experience Vienna’s most magical season,” says Majtlis. “It is sure to be a sell-out, so start making your plans now to welcome 2013 in Vienna!”

In addition to the musical highlights, ‘New Year’s in Vienna’ also includes a half-day city sightseeing tour, a welcome dinner and a late New Year’s Day lunch at the Grand Hotel, lunch at Hotel Sacher, and more. On December 31, visitors may experience the “New Year’s Eve Trail in the Old City,” a celebration organized by the City of Vienna.
