Hi Felix - I've found San Francisco to have fairly consistent and stable weather throughout the year - mostly pleasant in the daytime and on the cool side at night, more rain in winter and less in summer. It would help to know when you're planning to visit...

I agree the weather is pretty similar all year round. SFO is all about layers. The sun can be warm, but when the fog rolls in it can be downright chilly. If you plan for weather in the 50s and 60s you will do fine. Don't forget the rain coat.
