You'll want to keep checking the megasearch engines like Kayak.com and momondo on this site, which I've used a couple of times.  I've also flown to BA a few times (from LAX, not San Francisco), so I've experienced both United and LAN. Probably LAN is your best bet for about $1235 roundtrip. Can you beat that on Priceline?  

Also, you might do better flying to Los Angeles and flying from there, if timing matters, because there will be more flights.
